About Cady
Cady Woods is a multidisciplinary artist whose work moves fluidly between photography, design, creative education, and embodied practice. Her approach balances intuitive imagination with strong architectural thinking—shaped by documentary fieldwork, global design roles, and years of experience teaching visual arts and integrated creative curriculum.
Her photography practice spans documentary storytelling, portraiture, and cultural narratives, including a collaboration with the National Geographic Society in Tanzania documenting conservation initiatives. As a designer, she contributed to global campaigns for Apple’s App Store Today tab, developing culturally attuned formats for international audiences and creative editorial campaigns celebrating global festivals.
Cady’s teaching experience includes primary and secondary art instruction, photography, arts-integrated literacy, and creative curriculum development. She prioritizes structure, imagination, and accessibility—helping students understand the world through image, geometry, story, and embodied learning. Her classroom methodology blends visual arts, design thinking, and yoga-informed spatial awareness to support confidence, creativity, and expressive skill.
Now based in the UK, Cady continues to evolve her studio practice while studying yoga, functional anatomy, and Katonah-informed geometry. These studies deepen her interest in the body as an architectural system and inform her teaching, bringing spatial reasoning, metaphor, and imaginative mapping into her creative work.
Across all mediums, her work is united by clarity of structure, depth of story, and the belief that art expands how we think, perceive, and connect.
